Met z'n drieën op de foto

Situatieschets: Je hebt voor de zekerheid drie groepsfoto's achter elkaar gemaakt om er zeker van te zijn dat iedereen er goed op staat. Bij nadere inspectie blijkt echter dat op iedere foto iemand anders de ogen dicht heeft. Jammer! Met GroupShot doe je dit beter.

Je maakt met GroupShot een aantal groepsfoto's achter elkaar vanuit dezelfde positie. Daarna kies je als basisfoto degene die het meest geslaagd is. Staat er iemand niet helemaal goed op deze foto? Veeg dan met je vinger over zijn/haar gezicht en GroupShot laat op de andere foto's zien hoe deze persoon is gefotografeerd. Kies hieruit het exemplaar met de mooiste glimlach en laat GroupShot zijn trucje doen. Na even hard nadenken heeft de app het gekozen gezicht over de andere geplakt en heb je een groepsfoto gecreëerd waar het beste van iedereen wordt laten zien. Het eindresultaat is bijzonder goed te noemen, zolang iedereen maar een beetje stil stond tijdens het nemen van de foto.

Een klein minpuntje is het ontbreken van veel functies zoals HDR-functie, raster, focusmogelijkheid en flitser die in de standaard camera-app wel aanwezig zijn. Daartegenover staat dat de interface van de app duidelijk is en het geheel er strak uitziet.

Kortom
GroupShot verlaagt de kunst van het maken van de perfecte groepsfoto tot een peuleschilletje (toegegeven, door een beetje valsspelen, maar wat dan nog?). De camera-functionaliteit is hierbij in de meest simpele vorm aanwezig, maar dat neemt niet weg dat de bewerkingstechniek en het gebruiksgemak van GroupShot indrukwekkend is.

GroupShot solves a common problem found in group photos, namely one person who isn't facing the camera or whose expression doesn't fit the rest of the group.
Usually people take several shots of group photos, with the hope that one will be perfect.
With GroupShot, users can pick and choose parts of each photo, then combine all the parts to create the perfect shot that looks exactly the same.
The usage is incredibly simple. All you need to do is to load your images, mark the parts you wish to replace, and choose the best option from the rest of the set.
GroupShot is very easy to use and requires no technical knowledge.

Q: What is the resolution of the image created by GroupShot?
A: The resolution of the image created by the current version is 800 x 600 px. We are working on increasing this resolution and will include this improvement in our future updates.
Q: Does GroupShot work with pictures that are not identical?
A: GroupShot works the best with pictures that have the same background, however, pictures do not need to be identical. The images on this page and in our demo albums are a good example.
Q: Do I have to enable enable Location Services?
A: No. Location Services is optional. If you wish to leave it off, you can do that.
Q: What about more languages?
A: We are working on it. Our next update will include Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German and French.
Q: Does it work on iPad?
A: Yes, of course!
